International Trade Advisor Program
A corporate outreach program of the Bryant College John H. Chafee Center for International Business, RIEAC is a resource for international trade and manager of the International Trade Directorate for the RI Economic Development Corporation.

The RIEAC programs provide international business training, international trade information, consulting, trade show and trade mission support, and video conferencing services.

Since receiving the "E" award for excellence in Export Service in June 2000, we have been viewed as the model organization for export assistance in the United States. This award is presented by the President of the United States and the US Department of Commerce.

RIEAC and its state-of-the-art technology provides business with a competitive advantage in the global marketplace. The key to successful international trade is information. RIEAC offers the contacts, leads, research and training that business needs to expand their markets and increase sales.

We believe that we have the most comprehensive trade assistance program in the nation and are looking forward to helping your business succeed in the global marketplace.

Our International Trade Advisor Program creates a balanced offering from a broad range of services in five categories: Technology, Networking, Training, Experts and Students.

The International Trade Advisor Program Liaison creates and manages a customized selection of these RIEAC services that can leverage your resources and build business. Specifically your Program Liaison will:

  • Serve as your first point of contact at RIEAC and facilitate all services that will be delivered.
  • Lead a workgroup focused on furthering your business development initiatives.
  • Help identify business prospects and, whenever possible, offer sales leads and timely referrals based on trends in industries or markets.
  • Create a detailed outline covering how you can best utilize RIEAC's facilities and programs.
  • Host or participate in quarterly meetings that will monitor progress and review your service plan to determine if changes are needed.
